Traditional and beautiful, this 12-3/4-inch Seder plate from Spode's Judaica line is an elegant and tasteful addition to the Passover holiday. Inspired by historic Jewish manuscripts, the plate combines a soft white background with multi-hued, transfer-technique blue glazing. The pattern blends intricate flowers and vines, delicate scrollwork, and the Star of David. Hexagonal indentations are marked with images and words in Hebrew script, creating ceremonial space for separate types of food. Crafted from fine earthenware in England, the plate is markedly light in the hand but safe in the microwave and dishwasher. With its graceful lines and traditional colors, it is beautiful alone or in combination with other pieces from Spode's Judaica serving line. --Emily Bedard

I gave this to a friend as a Wedding gift. The Spode Judaica collection is some of the most beautiful Judaica I've seen, and I've seen a lot shopping with friends who are Jewish. Oversized, heavy weight pieces, creamy white porcelean, richly detailed in a gorgeous blue with beautiful symbols taken from old judaica manuscripts. I'm planning to give more of these items as gifts for friends. As a gift, you can't go wrong with anything from this collection for the person building a beautiful Jewish home.
