This lovely Kiddish cup from Spode's Judaica line is an elegant and tasteful addition to traditional Sabbath celebrations. Spode creates the cup from fine white earthenware with transfer-technique blue glazing and bases the pattern on historic Jewish manuscripts. The piece features ornate decoration inside and out, sculptural fluting on the thick stem, and a gently turned lip on the bowl. The Star of David is featured centrally amid flowers, scrollwork, and Hebrew lettering that translates as "Who creates the fruit of the vine." Made in England, the cup is safe in the dishwasher and the microwave. It stands 6 inches high and measures 4-3/4 inches in diameter at the rim. --Emily Bedard
